This observational documentary follows a 91 year-old opera singer who lives with her intensely volatile daughter and their chubby Chihuahua, Angelina Jolie. The three inhabit a Manhattan penthouse, but are at constant threat of being evicted by the ‘evil’ landlord. The film is an intimate portrait of a mother-daughter relationship, its extreme emotional states, and the knotted riddle of their past.
